definetly not a glass ceilings

Thanks to Los Angeles Appliance Services for the picture.

A huge job gave us huge results. We got the drywall up on the ceiling. We basically have a R-25 ceiling. And if you don't speak the R language that is like a banana split Sunday with three kinds of ice cream, nuts, Carmel, fudge, whipped cream, and more than one cherry made of insulation. So we have one insulated ceiling. Which is a good thing because we decided to do a radiant ceiling that will tie into our hot water solar panel. Yay for a warm place in the winter. Photos to come shortly.

It's a pot-filler

I know, I know, so ridiculous. But awesome too, right? The main reason we decided to get this is the fact that the water line runs right behind the stove so why not just add a valve there. Makes the kitchen very high-end for not too much money. I was able to get my regular faucet for so cheap that even after the pot filler purchase we were still under budget in the faucet category. And the best part, the pot-filler is copper, so it brings a bit of bling to that side of the kitchen.
